Educational tours are a great way to absorb, interact and to grasp theory practically. Tours are important also for enhancement of understanding, promotion of team work and development of social skills.

Our school took Students of class XI Delta and class IX for an educational tour to Dooars for the subject Geography. They started the journey on 20^th January 2023 from Krishnagar by bus and reached Alipurduar in next morning. They toured Jaldapara, Samsing tea garden, Murti River view point and the surrounding areas. They did different activities individually and group wise, explored local foods, enjoyed scenic beauty, learnt teamwork. They conducted interviews, as part of a socio-economic survey research, collected different samples of rocks and leaves of the natural vegetation available there as souvenir. They also observed Netaji Jayanti with local government officials by hoisting the National Flag. They shared their experiences of 3 memorable days including the campfire on the evening of 22^nd January. They returned back early morning on 24^th January.
