Jagaddhatri Puja 2021

Jagaddhatri Puja is one of the important festivals celebrated after Durga Puja, Laxmi Puja and Kali Puja in the month of Kartik. Devotees worship and celebrate the reincarnation of Goddess Durga in the name of Jagaddhatri and create the splendid ambience with festive spirits. The word “ Jagaddhatri” means ‘Holder' (Dhatri) of the world (Jagat)’. The two cities of West Bengal are famous for worshipping this goddess, namely Krishnagar and Chandannagar. The festival of Jagaddhatri Puja is celebrated in the splendid manner on the ninth day of moonlit fortnight in the month of November. Our Krishnagar Public School celebrated Jagaddhatri Puja on virtual platform.
