“Away, away, from men and towns,
To the wildwood and the downs, —
To the silent wilderness,
Where the soul need not repress its music.”
Earth day is observed on 22nd April every year. The day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. Billions of people, across the globe, gather every year to show their support and celebrate this special day. The theme for Earth Day 2021 is to Restore Our Earth, which focuses on natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems.
On this occasion, students of our Krishnagar Public School made us proud by showing their excellent and unique creative skills. From play group to senior secondary, many students took part in this programme virtually and shared their beautiful creation to enlighten our school as well as our society.
The little members from playgroup to nursery dressed up themselves like a tree and conveyed valuable messages on saving our Planet, Earth. The students shared their beautiful art work on “Save Our Earth”. They even made wonderful placards, wrote some meaningful posters and slogans about saving of our Earth from this pandemic Covid-19. The students even made amazing efforts in recycling household materials and transforming them into beautiful decorative items. The students were adept at sharing them through the virtual media.
