"Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark."
Rabindra Jayanti is celebrated every year on the 25th day of Bengali month Baishak on occasion of Nobel-laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore's birth anniversary. This year it was celebrated on the 9th of May. In view of restrictions due to the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, Krishnagar Public School paid an online tribute to the multifaceted Bard of India with song, dance, skit, recitals and instrumental performances.
Students from different classes paid tribute to Gurudev through their performances- song, dance, recitation or enacting his short plays on virtual platform. The students dressed up as notable characters from Tagore’s creations and enacted them. The students even performed song, dance, recitation, enactment of short plays (scenes from plays), instrumental performances on Tagore’s creations, or any other creative expression they deem fit to pay tribute to Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore.
Our honourable Director Sir, Trustee Madam, Principal Sir, Vice Principal Sir, Headmistress Madam and Coordinator Madam paid their homage to the great literary scholar, the polymath, musician and artist.
