World Elephant Day is an international annual event on August 12, dedicated to the preservation and protection of the world's elephants. The goal of this day is to create awareness of the urgent plight of African and Asian elephants, and to share knowledge and positive solutions for the better care and management of captive and wild elephants.
Our Krishnagar Public School celebrated ‘World Elephant Day' during Covid-19 situation on virtual platform. Students from class Playgroup to V celebrated this day by participating in different activities like acting like an elephant, drawing pictures of elephants, listing elephant reserves of India, writing short note on need of elephant conservation etc. The activities followed by the students are as follows.
ð—£ð—¹ð—®ð˜†ð—´ð—¿ð—¼ð˜‚ð—½ -ð—žð—š: Record a video while acting like an elephant.
ð—–ð—¹ð—®ð˜€ð˜€ ð—œ-ð—œð—œ: Students will draw colourful pictures of elephant
ð—–ð—¹ð—®ð˜€ð˜€ ð—œð—œð—œ- ð—œð—©: Students will make a list of Elephant Reserves in India.
