Krishna Janmashtami, also known simply as Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu. ... It is an important festival, particularly in the Vaishnavism tradition.
The festival of Krishna Janmashtami is here, which marks the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna was the son of Devaki, Kansa's sister, and Vasudeva. However, he was raised by his foster parents Nand and Yashoda in Vrindavan to save him from Kansa's wrath. This year Janmashtami was celebrated on 30th August, 2021.
To celebrate ' Janmashtami'' the small students of Pre Primary of our Krishnagar Public School had dressed up like Krishna and Radha and performed dance and also they had decorated pots and clicked photos with the pot. The students of Class-Pre Nursery to Class-KG had actively participated and showed their interest and they had performed very well.
The main objectives was to make the students participate virtually and to feel the importance of Krishna and Radha on the special day of "Janmashtami''.
Overall , the virtual activities of the students of Krishnagar Public School had made the event more graceful with their beautiful appearance as Krishna and Radha.
