World Postal Day is celebrated every year on the 9th of October to celebrate anniversary of Universal Postal Union which started in 1874 in Switzerland. The main purpose of this day is to highlight the importance of the postal services. Students of class 1-5 of our Krishnagar Public School have celebrated World Postal Day on virtual platform during this covid-19 situation. Students participated in different activities and submitted those activities to the respective class teachers. All the details of the activities for class 1-5 are given below.
PG, NURSERY & KG :- Take a print out or draw post office and wish to all 'Happy World Postal Day'.
Classes I - II : Decorate a post card and take a photo of the same in school uniform.
Classes III - V :- Make a short video narrating the importance of postal service in our life (Videos should not be more than 40 seconds). As the theme of World Postal Day this year was “ Innovate to recover”, all these activities helped to bring awareness to the post's role in the everyday lives of people and business. Students from class 1-5 were well acquainted with the function and importance of Postal services while participating in those activities. All these activities mentioned above were considered as the SEA for students of 1-5
