Republic Day marks an important event in India's history. It commemorates the enactment of the constitution of India which came into effect on January 26, 1950 and made the nation into a Republic. On this auspicious morning of 26th January 2022, Krishnagar Public School has celebrated the 73rd Republic day in the school premises. Due to spike in covid-19 cases students also celebrated the day through different activities virtually. Our honourable Principal Sir and Respected Director Sir unfurled the national flag. After that all members of our school expressed our respect through patriotic songs and our National Anthem.
The students of different classes performed the following activities on the virtual mode:
PG -KG : The little kids of Pre primary dressed up as their favourite freedom fighters and gained knowledge about their favourite heroes.
STD I – II : Students of std 1 to 3 tributed their love to country by making tricolour badge.
STD III– V : The students of std 3, 4 and 5 celebrated the Republic day having tricolour food. They tried to show our different food culture.
STD VI – VIII : The students of middle school drew pictures and made models of India’s monuments , famous places of different states. By doing the activities they gained knowledge about our country’s history , heritage and culture.
STD IX – X : The secondary students practiced free hand exercise wearing white dress to prove that fitness is the key of healthy life.
STD XI – XII : To pay homage to the country the students of 11 and 12 made painting of national flag and symbols on dry leaves.
The entire program was aired using Facebook Live and the children sitting at home could see the same.
