Devi Saraswati is acclaimed as the Goddess knowledge, arts, and wisdom by people. She is the consort of Brahma, the creator of the Universe, and is regarded as the source of endless learning. Though Devi Saraswati is worshipped every day, the Panchami Tithi of the month of Magha, Shukla Paksha, is reserved for conducting the Saraswati Puja. This day coincides with Vasant Panchami celebrations, a day that marks the beginning of the spring season.
Keeping the tradition alive, Krishnagar Public School celebrated Vasant Panchami with cultural fervour and worshipped Goddess Saraswati for inspiration to do well in the spheres of knowledge, wisdom, arts, aesthetics, literature, music and science.
