“The more faith you have in God, the less pain you shall feel while pulling the Rath.”
Rath Yaatra is an ancient Hindu Vedic festival historically native to the Indian subcontinent, more specifically, the Indian states of Odissa, West Bengal and many other regions. The Rath Yaatra is dedicated to the God Vishnu to thank him for taking Avatar in human form on earth and to request the granting of certain wishes. This festival is observed throughout the nation along with their diaspora.
Keeping in view the kids of our beloved institution Krishnagar Public School were also requested to celebrate it on 30th June, 2022 through various activities . The students of Classes 1 to 5 actively participated and showed their interest . The main objective was to create awareness in them about the rich and varied cultural heritage of our country .
After a long pandemic situation, the students got a chance to celebrate the occasion and to observe the day in our school . Students from classes 1 to 3 expressed their feeling, talent and imagination through colours . Students of class 4 and 5 shared there beliefs and ritual attributes towards this event through a small speech on topic “IMPORTANCE OR DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF RATH YAATRA”.
During the whole programme, the most important thing which was noticed was the determination and enthusiasm of the students with which they participated. All their works are very much presentable. But unfortunately, due to shortage of space, we are presenting herewith very few photographs and videos of their creativity . It was really a memorable day for all of us associated with Krishnagar Public School.
