Like every year, this year also, Krishnagar Public school celebrated Independence Day on 15 August 2022 with great joy and zeal. On that day the sense of happiness and pride could clearly be seen on the faces of the people as India was celebrating its 75th Independence Day on 15th August 2022.
The students were wearing neat and clean school uniforms, with a few wearing colourful costumes for the programs of the day. All the teachers along with the heads wore white saree and white Panjabi.
The special occasion started with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal Sir along with Director Sir in the school ground. It was followed by the National Anthem. All the students were provided with a national flag by the school.
A dance program and other cultural events were performed by students of the school. Teachers sang a song giving tribute to the nation.
The students enthusiastically participated in the drawing competition and plantation programme.
All the students were given chocolates by the school authority.
The objective was to make the students participate physically in the activities and to realize the importance of Independence Day.
Overall, the activities of the students of Krishnagar Public School had made the event more graceful.
