You have the right to work , but never to the fruit of the work .You should never engage in action for the shake of reward , nor should you long for inaction. -Lord Krishna , Bhagavad Gita ‘Janmashtami” is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. According to the Hindu calendar, this festival is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksh or the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadon. This day indicated the beginning of hope in the older times; hope, that the malicious rule of Kansa would soon end. This year ‘Janmashtami’ celebrated on 17.08.2022 . To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, ‘Janmashtami’ was celebrated at The Krishnagar Public School on 16th August, 2022 with mirth and joy.
So, to celebrate this auspicious day we request our pre-primary students to participate in some activities related to 'Janmashtami' which held in the school premises on the scheduled date.
To celebrate the ‘Janmashtami’ a splendid and colourful performance by the students of play group of our Krishnagar Public School came dressed in ethnic wear as Radha and Krishna. Students of Nursery made a flute with paper , bindis and a peacock feather. Students of KG drew a peacock feather in a paper.
This day signifies a lot more to modern India, it signifies excitement, euphoria and a joyous spirit of enthrallment. To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, Krishnagar Public School arranged a beautiful program on the occasion of ‘Janmashtami’.
Overall, the activities of the students of Krishnagar Public School had made the event more graceful.
