Remember God’s bounty in the year. String the pearls of His favor. Hide the dark parts, except so far as they are breaking out in light! Give this one day to thanks, to joy, to gratitude!
Thanksgiving Day is celebrated annually as a national holiday in the North American continent on the fourth Thursday of November. The day is meant to celebrate the harvest season and other blessings of the year gone by.
According to the History Channel, the first sign of our Thanksgiving tradition occurred in 1621 when the Native American tribe Wampanoag joined the pilgrims in Plymouth (the ones who came over on the Mayflower) for an autumn harvest festival. After that, different colonies and states celebrated their own versions of thanksgiving celebrations until 1863, when Thanksgiving Day became a national holiday.
This year the students of Krishnagar Public School celebrated this occasion through their art performances on 25th November 2022, Friday.
Little buds of Play Group section said "Thank You" to everyone.
Our sweet toddler from Nursery made a "thanksgiving"poster for our helpers.
Students of KG made a "thank you" card mentioning a small message for our helpers .
The main objectives was to make the students participate actively and to feel the importance of "Thsnksgiving Day" .
Overall ,the interesting activities of the students of Krishnagar Public School had made the event more graceful.
