Van Mahotsav was an endeavor to set alight the values of social responsibility among the students towards safeguarding the Mother Nature.
Motive was to spread awareness about nature and to evoke love and affection towards nature. As such, an excursion was organised by Krishnagar Public School, for Grade VII students on Saturday, 1st July 2023 to Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary.
Excursions provide a student with real world experiences. The children were excited to visit the place. 115 students, accompanied by the Director Sir, Head Mistress 2 Madam and 10 faculty members were part of this educational trip.
Upon reaching the sanctuary students and teachers were awestruck by the rich biodiversity of the sanctuary. Students and teachers were equally elated to find themselves in the lap of nature. Students were quick to note down all the experiences they had during the trip. Some of them noted how was the habitat of the animals who are part of the sanctuary where as some of them noted the diversity in flora of the sanctuary.
At the end of the trip student found themselves enriched with knowledge. Teachers too took this opportunity to make students aware of all the practical aspects of the nature and its course.
