National Doctors’ day
“Medicines cure disease, but Doctors cure patients”
The Indian Government officially first declared National Doctors’ Day date as July 1 in 1991. This day is celebrated on 01 July every year in India for the past 32 years, honoring the legendary and renowned doctor Bidhan Chandra Roy, a politician, a freedom fighter, and an advocate for education.
Doctors are the soldiers of the country who work to save lives and improve life expectancy while putting their lives at risk. Their contribution towards human health is beyond expectations and that has been witnessed while the recent pandemic situation.
This year the students of Krishnagar Public School paid their tribute to the doctors through their exquisite creativity on Saturday, 1st of July, 2023. Some of the students made stethoscopes with paper. Some wrote beautiful quotes on doctors and painted Doctor’s logo using color pens.
The main objective was to make the students participate actively and understand the importance of ‘National Doctors’ Day’.
Overall, the event was joyful and students participated enthusiastically.
