Investiture Ceremony 2023

In the words of Douglas MacArthur,

 “A true leader has the confidence to stand alone, the courage to make tough decisions, and the compassion to listen to the needs of the others. He does not set out to be a leader, but becomes one by the equality of his actions and the integrity of his intent.”

A great leader not only has a vision to succeed but also the determination and zeal to advance undeterred towards a collective goal. Passion, empathy, humility, and integrity are few of the qualities that a leader must possess. The swearing- in ceremony of the student Council is an annual event. The investiture ceremony was organised in the school premises on 15th August 2023. The newly elected members of school Council received their badges of special power and responsibilities form Mr. Amitava Guha, the Director, Mrs Nabanita Guha, the Trustee, Dr. Sankar Prasad Dutta, the Principal, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Agarwal, the Vice-Principal, Ms. Indrani Bhattacharyya, the Headmistress of Secondary Section, Mrs. Rekha Goswami, the Headmistress of Primary section, and the Heads of various departments. It was a very proud moment for the students to receive the responsibilities. Principal sir thanked the students for their achievements and explained their responsibilities. The previous year’s Head boy and Head girl handed over the school flag to the newly elected Head boy and Head girl.

The grand occasion culminated with the speech of the Head Girl Jayashree Mandol and the Head Boy Nilabhra Guha. Indeed, it was a memorable event etched in the mind of all spectators for years to come.
