“Friendship is God’s way of taking care of us”
Friendship is one of the most beautiful relationships. Friends inspire, support and help us to grow. They make us feel valued and loved. Friendship can be described as a flower that must be consistently nurtured.
Friendship day is celebrated every year on 2nd August globally. The celebration of this beautiful relationship is known to have originated from Hall mark cards by Joyce Hall in 1930.
Students of Krishnagar Public school maintaining the norms of Corona virus pandemic actively participated in the celebration to show love and affection to their friends. Classes I and II made greeting cards for their friends while Class III shared their views about friendship and Classes IV and V celebrated the day on digital platform where they shared greetings and good wishes with one another. They sang and danced beautifully to make the celebration special.
The main objective of this celebration was to create a bond and recognise the strength of friendship. In this global crisis the day ended with prayers for friends and their family.
