TEACHERS’ DAY

“A Teacher’s purpose is not to create his own image but

to develop students who can create their own image”

KPS believes that during this pandemic the teachers have evolved as the TRUE WARRIORS as they continue to provide their uninterrupted services to the society like the doctors, medical professionals, policemen, NGOs etc.

We firmly believe that education cannot stop at any cost and the students can never be deprived of their basic right to education. During this crisis, the teaching fraternity across the globe literally unlearned and relearned all their existing practices to revamp the entire education system overnight to ensure that they are able to reach out to the student.

Keeping in mind, all the challenges and hardship that the teachers are facing, the management of KPS organized a small programme to felicitate the efforts of the teachers on 5th September 2020. The senior students also joined this programme to boost the spirits of the teachers and to express their love and respect they have for them.

The students organized a beautiful virtual programme and the same was played on the Interactive White Board in the school campus where the teachers assembled maintaining the Covid -19 norms. Few students also wished their teachers- virtually through Google Meet platform.

The senior students of KPS made the entire effort to organize a virtual programme. A cake was specially designed and arranged by the management to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of the teachers, who enjoyed bites together to celebrate their hard work, dedication and cherish their team work of making  digital transformation possible overnight.

After the cake cutting ceremony, a speech was delivered by Principal, Dr. Sankar Prasad Dutta to motivate all who were present. A small token of appreciation that was especially customized for every teachers, was handed over individually by the Director Mr. Amitava Guha .  The celebration ended with a grand lunch for all.
