Being brother and sister means being there for each other.
“Bhai Dooj” is celebrated across the country in different regions under different names. In West Bengal this festival is celebrated as “Bhai phonta” which nurtures and strengthens the pious bond of affection between brothers and sisters. This year students of Krishnagar Public School celebrated Bhai Dooj on virtual platform.
Students from Pre-nursery to class XII participated in different activities on the occasion of Bhai Dooj which included speech, making greeting cards for siblings, power point presentation which spoke about the origin, cultural background and state wise celebration of the festival. The celebration not only raised the essence of the purity of fraternity but also presented the cultural and traditional ‘unity in diversity' in this multi-cultural land.
