"What are we having this liberty for? We are having this liberty in order to reform our social system, which is full of inequality, discrimination and other things, which conflict with our fundamental rights."
26th November was marked as the Constitution Day of India by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2015 as a part of year-long celebration of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar. Constitution Day is celebrated every year on this day to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
The day aims to bring awareness on the importance of the Indian Constitution and its architect, Dr B R Ambedkar who was a renowned social reformer, politician and jurist and is also called the Father of Indian Constitution.
All the students and teachers of Krishnagar Public School reaffirmed their commitment to the Indian Constitution by taking the pledge virtually.
