World Day of the Handicapped

When everyone else says you can’t, determination says “YES YOU CAN”

The only special need I have, accept me as I am.

On 3rd December 1982, the UN General Assembly decided on the World Programme of Action for Disabled People. The annual observance of this day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for their dignity, rights and well being. The day is observed to inculcate a sense of compassion among all human beings on Earth and to celebrate the lives of people with disabilities and salute their determination.

It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of persons with disabilities in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.

To observe 'The International Day of Disabled Person ' the students of Class-I to V made posters with slogans and several art work to support the occasion raise awareness virtually .
