The cause of making the world a better place for children unites us all
The United Nations General Assembly created UNICEF on 11th December 1946. It actually began after the World War II with a motive of providing emergency fund and relief to meet the acute need and crises of children worldwide. Ever since then, it has never stopped, instead every day it has extended its hand to reach out further.
The day is observed to commemorate and salute the organization and its members, for their continuous and tireless effort to save, protect and enhance every child towards a promising future.
With a view to express gratitude towards their contribution across the globe, our students of class I and II donated old and new clothes to the under privileged children and shared their pictures to create compassion for little children who are not so fortunate like us.
The UNICEF logo is widely regarded as one of the most recognizable and memorable emblems in the non-profit world. The students of class III made paintings of the UNICEF logo to acknowledge their unconditional contribution to the society.
UNICEF works in over 190 countries and territories to save children’s lives, to defend their rights, and to help them to fulfill their potential from early childhood through adolescence. Our students of class V made posters on “Right to Education”, “Stop Child Abuse” and “Sop Child Labour” in support of the mission.
