HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

“To deny people their human rights is to challenge their very humanity”

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. Every one of us has right to life, liberty and security. It is the day to reaffirm the importance of human rights in rebuilding the world we want. But unfortunately, in the present world there is a continuous tendency of increasing discrepancy in our society. To overcome this situation and to make ourselves aware of our human rights, every year on the 10^th December “international Human Rights Day” is celebrated globally.

Students of classes IX to XII observed this day by taking part in activities to create awareness about our rights for a better future. They made posters and spoke on how rights are the beginning of peace within societies and a way to create a fairer society for future generations.
