World Teachers’ Day

The influence of teachers extends beyond the classroom, well into the future

World Teachers’ Day is celebrated every year on 5^th October globally to recognize and celebrate the works of educators including teachers, researchers and professors worldwide. This day was created by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization not only to show appreciation for teachers but to assess the day and help teachers to improve.

The theme for World Teachers’ Day 2020 is “Teachers: Leading in Crisis, Reimagining the Future” aims to address the role the teachers have been playing during the COVID-19 pandemic

To pay tribute to the teachers, students organized a short cultural program virtually which was not only entertaining but also expressed love, respect and gratitude for their teachers. The program consisted of Teachers’ Day greetings, dance, songs, instrumental performance and speech.
