World Students' Day, declared by the United Nations on the occasion of the birthday of the former Indian President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is celebrated every year on October 15. Dr Kalam was a committed teacher and identified himself foremost in that role before anything else. He dedicated his life and works to the youth and the students and inspired them to celebrate the quest for knowledge irrespective of their background or field of study.
On this occasion, the senior students of Krishnagar Public School met virtually for an open mic session to pay tribute to Dr. Kalam and also to discuss on the primary theme of World Students' Day for 2020 - 'Learning for people, planet, prosperity and peace'. They expressed their opinion on the role of education as a fundamental right for all that is the key to ensure ''Sustainable Development' across the globe. They also spoke about the responsibility of the students and the youth as the future of the world
