The Birthday of Guru Nanak Sahib is the most significant festivals of the Sikh community and commemorates the founder of Sikhism and the first Sikh Guru.

Due to the growing number of COVID cases this year, our students of Pre-Nursery to class VIII observed the 551^st birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji through various activities on virtual platform on 30^thNovember 2020 to spread the message of peace and harmony.

They sent virtual greetings to their friends and family and made paper “Khandas”. Some students served food to show respect to the tradition of Langar maintaining the pandemic norms. Students also made Golden Temple giving 3D effect.

Girls danced on the tune of Punjabi folk music and also performed Bhangra and Gidda in beautiful traditional attire and enjoyed Punjabi delicacies with family.
