LET’S CHANGE THE WORLD
The declaration to eliminate violence against women issued by the UN General Assembly in 1993, defines violence against women as an act of gender-based violence that results in physical, sexual or psychological harm or suffering to women, including threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring in public or in private life.
The objective behind observing the day is to eliminate and prevent violence against women and girls. In the world, violence against women and girls is one of the most widespread and devastating human rights violations which largely remain unreported due to the silence, stigma, and shame surrounding it.
With a view to spread awareness and to create the feel of respect for every woman in the society, Senior Students of our school expressed their thoughts through the posters which they presented virtually. They tried to raise their voice against the brutal act which shatters their morale and dignity forever.
