WORLD HELLO DAY

Hello, Hello, Helloooo…

Hello! Ciao! NiHao! Hola! Marhaba! Shalom! Bonjour! Namaste! In the words of Gretta Brooker Palmer -"Happiness is a by-product of an effort of making someone else happy.

"World Hello Day may sound extremely basic, as it encourages one to take an opportunity to simply greet people and recognize the importance of simple communication in our daily lives. However it was first created in 1973 in order to show people that conflicts can and should be resolved through communication and not violence.

On the occasion of “World Hello Day”, students of classes VI to XII expressed their thoughts through letter writing activity and also shared their recently discovered new language. They also shared their views about peace and secularism. The activities were performed to encourage the importance of communication in our daily lives.
