Education and knowledge are the power of the minorities in this country
The Minorities Day is observed in India every year. Every nation across the globe has its share of minorities be it cultural, ethnic, religious or linguistic.
The day is important as it helps us understand the issues being faced by the minorities and create awareness about their rights.
Minorities Rights Day is observed on 18th December by the National Commission for Minorities in India which focuses on the religious harmony, respect, and better understanding of all minority communities.
To mark this day, our students from class VI to VIII took part in different activities virtually. They made posters with self created quotations, shared videos where they spoke about the importance of the day and shared some photos of this occasion being celebrated by minority group of people.
