New Year is the glittering light to brighten the dream-lined pathway of future.
New Year's Day is observed on 1st January, the first day of the year on the modern Gregorian as well as the Julian calendars.
In present day, with most countries now using the Gregorian calendar as their de facto calendar, New Year's Day is among the most celebrated public holidays in the world, often observed with fireworks at the stroke of midnight as the new year starts in each time zone. Other global New Year's Day traditions include making New Year's resolutions and calling one's friends and family for a get together at home.
With great joy and merriment our students took part in several activities on virtual platform. They made greeting cards, greeted their teachers, friends and family members through video calls.
In this pandemic where everything seems to be gloomy, our students brought glimpse of happiness by celebrating this day with great fun and joy.
