72nd REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

Let us remember the golden heritage of our country and feel proud to be a part of India.

Republic Day is a prominent national festival which binds the entire nation together, imparting a message of ‘Unity in Diversity’.

Republic Day is celebrated every year in India on 26th January with zeal and enthusiasm. Spectacular parades at Janpath, New Delhi, consisting the Indian National Army and national flag hoisting in various parts of the country are common practices followed on this day. It was this day in history in 1965 when Hindi was also declared as the official language of India.

After attaining independence from the British rule, the new constitution was enrolled by the drafting committee under the deanship of Dr BR Ambedkar. The Indian Constitution came into effect on 26 January 1950, which declared India’s occurrence as an independent republic. Republic Day signifies the right spirit of Independent and individual India.

 

Our students of Pre-nursery to Class XII actively participated in various activities to celebrate this day. They made tricolour flag with ice-cream sticks, tri colour paper badges, and performed song and dance on patriotic music, recited patriotic poetries, made power point presentation on Rajpath Procession Delhi which included flypast of Fighter jets. The senior students participated in quiz, essay writing and poetry writing competitions on MyGovt.in portal.

The Management and staff together hoisted the National Flag in the school premises maintaining social distance and other precautionary pandemic norms.
