FOUNDER’S DAY CELEBRATION

15^th March - Founder’s Day is traditionally a very important day in the school calendar of Krishnagar Public School when members of the school community meet to commemorate the vision of education laid by the Founder Chairman; Mr. Naresh Chandra Das who is a visionary and a pioneer in the field of education. It is his birthday, which all at KPS wait for, to express their love and gratitude.

A humble beneficent gentleman, Mr. Naresh Chandra Das opened the door of Education in the year 2008 and named it as Global Knowledge Campus with a vision of to impart learning to those deprived because of several reasons, says his grandson Nilabhra Guha, a student of class IX whom he considers as the source of inspiration.

We pray to the almighty to shower His blessing upon our Founder Chairman with good health, a long and happy life and may we be able to carry his dream together as a team with a vision to convert KPS into an International School said, Principal Dr. Sankar Prasad Dutta.

The day was celebrated with fervor, zest and enthusiasm in school. Following the strict COVID protocol the program initiated with felicitation of the Chairman followed by a short cultural program which included, song, dance, instrumental performance and recitation by teachers and senior students.

The celebration concluded by cutting of the cake and a grand lunch.
